Elissa

Owner/lead florist

Elissa’s journey into floristry began with studies in Landscape Design and Permaculture, which led her to discover the art of floral design at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show in 2015.

Inspired by the incredible displays, she went on to complete formal training in floristry at Melbourne Polytechnic.

Since then, she has worked extensively across both retail and event floristry, and spent time immersed in the rhythms of a small-scale regenerative flower farm in Lyonville.

These experiences have deepened her respect for the local cut flower industry, and strengthened her commitment to seasonality and sustainable practices.

Originally from Melbourne’s east, she has called Daylesford home for the past seven years. Together with her partner George and their two dogs, she cherishes the slower pace of life, the changing seasons, and the strong sense of community they’ve found there.

To her, flowers are a timeless language—offering beauty, joy, and connection. She feels incredibly privileged to share them with others.
